Mindi is designed for four players playing in two partnerships. The game uses a standard 52 card deck. The ranking of the cards in this deck are as follows (from high to low); Ace, King, Queen, Jack, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2.

The player who draws the highest card of all would be designated the first dealer.

The dealer shuffles the cards and deals the hand. He deals out 13 card hands around the table.

Game is split into two modes:

Hide Mode- The player to the dealer’s right selects a card placing it to table face down which will be declared as trump suit for that play.

Cut Mode- Play begins without choosing trump suit when the player is unable to follow the suit then whichever he/she chooses becomes the trump of the deal.

Thus, once a trump suit is designated for the hand, the highest card of the trump suit played to the trick wins the trick. If no trump card has been played to the trick, the highest card of the suit led wins the trick. The winner of each trick leads the first card to the next trick. Each captured trick should be kept in a face down pile of cards, gathered by the winner of the trick.

After all 13 tricks have been played the captured cards are then examined to determine the winner of the hand.

If one partnership manages to capture three or four of the Tens, they win the hand. If the partnership manages to take all 4 Tens, this is called Mendicot. Winning every trick in the hand is called Fifty-Two card Mendicot.

The winner of each hand scores one game point. The first team to score 5 game points is the overall game winner.

Trò chơi được lập trình dựa trên hàm sinh số ngẫu nhiên của điện thoại. Các quân bài phục vụ cho việc chơi ba cây đã được chọn lọc ra từ A - 9 của cả 4 chất cơ, rô, bíc (gồm 36 cây); các quân Q, J, K đã được loại ra. Khi trò chơi được mở ra, bộ bài 36 cây được đặt ở giữa. Mỗi khi nút “Chia bài” được bấm, máy sẽ tự động chia đủ bài cho người chơi. Nếu tiếp tục bấm nút “Chia bài” nữa, các quân bài còn lại trong bộ bài tiếp tục được chia cho đến khi hết bộ bài không chia được nữa, lúc này bộ bài ở giữa sẽ hết (trống không). Sau khi được chia, các quân bài được đặt ở dạng sấp, người chơi ấn vào từng quân bài để lật lên xem chúng là quân gì. Người thắng là người có tổng các số trên quân bài lớn hơn, trường hợp tổng các số trên quân bài của người chơi bằng nhau thì ưu tiên đến chất của các quân bài có trong bộ bài. Thứ tự chất từ lớn đến bé là: rô, cơ, tép, bíc. Sau khi phân định thắng thua, người chơi bấm nút “Thu bài” để bắt đầu ván chơi mới. Khi nút “Thu bài” được bấm, máy tự động thu lại hết bài, đồng thời bộ bài cũng được trộn lại và sẵn sàng cho ván mới. Trò chơi được thiết kế để sử dụng được cả hai đầu, tên nút bấm cũng được ghi theo nhiều chiều để tiện cho người chơi ngồi ở các phía khác nhau có thể cùng điều khiển được.
Khi phân định thắng thua sau mỗi ván, người chơi có thể quy định có phần thưởng hay phạt nào đó để thêm phần kịch tính. Để chơi 2, 3, 4 người cùng lúc, hãy bấm vào nút Menu để chọn nút tương ứng.
